About Manhattan 75

Our mission at Manhattan 75 is to create a vibrant, welcoming community on West 75th Street by celebrating our NYC roots, beautifying our shared spaces, and bringing neighbors together.

Storm Link is a new initiative from the M75 board. When a storm hits, any neighbor who needs a hand can request help with shoveling, groceries, or errands. Volunteers sign up for shifts and get matched with those who need support.

This is our first time running Storm Link. We'll do our best to fill requests and hope to maintain a volunteer list for future emergencies.

How Storm Link Works

1

Neighbors request help

Anyone on the block can submit a request for shoveling, grocery delivery, or other assistance. No account needed.

2

Volunteers are notified

On-call volunteers receive an email or text message when a new request comes in that matches their skills and availability.

3

Volunteers claim requests

A volunteer claims the request and receives the neighbor's contact information to coordinate directly.

4

Neighbors connect

The neighbor receives a text with the volunteer's name and phone number. Help is on the way!
